Day 5: Lo-fi Prototype Testing

We will run simple usability test sessions and service walkthroughs for rapid paper prototypes.

Usability tests – During the usability tests participants will be executing task given by the organizers and thinking out loud about their actions. For the test you would need a participant, a facilitator who gives instructions and tasks, an observer who writes notes and a “computer” who reacts to user’s commands.

A simple walk-through

Specify the background for the task and walk through your design, explaining your actions as you go. Other stakeholders can ask questions and suggest corrections. This type of “demo with feedback” works well for familiar situations such as typing and sending a simple comment message.
